About Matt Schweitzer:
I have been leading worship in churches since I was 16 years old, and I’m passionate about the songs we sing in worship being powerful reminders of the hope, joy, and truth that we find in God and in his Word. My wife Emily and I have been married since 2012, and we have 5 children: Oliver, Clara, Ellie, and baby twins, Addy and Sadie. I currently work at Emmaus Road Church in DeWitt, IA, leading the Worship Ministry and I am involved in the Student Ministries (4th-12th grade) as well. Outside of church and family things, I really enjoy NFL Football (Go Packers!) cooking (and eating) gourmet meals and desserts, and golfing. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God” (Colossians 3:16). |
